Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in social media management and at least 2 years managing a (small) team
  • Experience in fintech or other highly-regulated industries is also strongly preferred
  • Expertise in social media platforms, influencer management, social management tools
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide a team
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong eye for design, video, and visual aesthetics
  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite), analytics platforms
  • Familiarity with video content creation and editing
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools and an understanding of how to leverage data to inform strategy
  • Curiosity and a passion for social media, pop culture, and digital innovation
  • Experience managing influencers and an influencer agency
  • Knowledge of SEO, content marketing, and digital marketing best practices
  • Creative, self-motivated, and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation across multiple platforms
  • Lead a team of two social media coordinators, providing mentorship, training, and performance feedback
  • Create, curate, and optimize high-quality content that aligns with the company’s voice, values, and goals
  • Track, analyze and report on key metrics, trends, and KPIs to optimize performance
  • Manage and grow the company’s social media communities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including content, PR, design, and performance marketing
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices to keep our social media efforts relevant and innovative
  • Lead social strategy and execution within go-to-market planning to ensure cohesive campaigns that align with broader brand and business objectives
  • Oversee the social media calendar
