Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in social media management and at least 2 years managing a (small) team
- Experience in fintech or other highly-regulated industries is also strongly preferred
- Expertise in social media platforms, influencer management, social management tools
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide a team
- Excellent communication skills and a strong eye for design, video, and visual aesthetics
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite), analytics platforms
- Familiarity with video content creation and editing
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools and an understanding of how to leverage data to inform strategy
- Curiosity and a passion for social media, pop culture, and digital innovation
- Experience managing influencers and an influencer agency
- Knowledge of SEO, content marketing, and digital marketing best practices
- Creative, self-motivated, and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation across multiple platforms
- Lead a team of two social media coordinators, providing mentorship, training, and performance feedback
- Create, curate, and optimize high-quality content that aligns with the company’s voice, values, and goals
- Track, analyze and report on key metrics, trends, and KPIs to optimize performance
- Manage and grow the company’s social media communities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including content, PR, design, and performance marketing
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices to keep our social media efforts relevant and innovative
- Lead social strategy and execution within go-to-market planning to ensure cohesive campaigns that align with broader brand and business objectives
- Oversee the social media calendar
