Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs; PhD+0 yrs)
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
- 5 Years of Relevant Experience
- Experience in nonprofit management, public health, social impact, or a related field
- Experience working with third-party grantmaking and giving platforms (e.g., Benevity, Blackbaud, CyberGrants, Salesforce) to manage donation workflows, impact reporting, and nonprofit vetting.
- Strong program management and organizational skills, with the ability to track multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the intake, vetting, fulfillment, and tracking of U.S.-based product and equipment donation requests from eligible nonprofit organizations.
- Support patient assistance initiatives, ensuring proper screening and communication with customers and healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with the Director of Social Impact to ensure programs operate efficiently and within established guidelines.
- Gather program metrics and success stories (impact reports) to showcase the impact of Alcon’s social impact efforts internally and externally.
- Manage logistics and documentation with internal functions such as Legal, Compliance, Quality, Supply Chain, and SAP ordering systems.
- Lead internal reporting, budget tracking, and regulatory compliance for Alcon Cares donations.
- Lead and mentor team of Social Impact professionals to achieve organizational goals, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with product donation programs, patient assistance workflows, or healthcare nonprofit operations preferred.
