Requirements
- 6+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with direct experience as a strategic HR Business Partner or Talent Partner. Experience in retail or digital environments is a strong asset.
- Deep expertise across core areas including employee relations, performance management, total rewards, and HR analytics
- A demonstrated ability to develop, interpret, and implement people programs and policies that resonate across all levels — from junior employees to senior leaders
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset suited to fast-paced, cross-functional environments
- A proven track record of enabling high-performing teams through people strategies that drive measurable business outcomes
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to think beyond traditional HR to provide insights that support both team and organizational success

Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, enabling effective people decisions that drive high performance and engagement
- Support the full employee lifecycle — including onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and development — with consistency, care, and alignment to Aritzia’s values
- Partner with leaders to ensure we have the right people in the right roles, at the right time
- Identify development opportunities and implement solutions that unlock potential and accelerate the growth of high-performing talent
- Coach and consult with leaders at all levels on performance, engagement, and team effectiveness
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure we’re hiring and retaining the best talent for both today and tomorrow
- Support organizational planning and resource allocation to enable business outcomes and team success
- Ensure the fair and consistent application of people policies and programs, balancing compliance with culture and employee experience
