Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Services Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field. In lieu of degree, five (5) years’ leadership experience in a healthcare or health insurance environment will be considered.
- PMI certification or intimate knowledge and understanding of PMI lifecycle are preferred.
- Minimum seven (7) years’ Project Management experience OR applicable Masters in related field with minimum five (5) years’ experience.
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience with PC-based software applications including project management applications, i.e., Microsoft Project Server and Microsoft Project Professional; attach list of software applications used and examples of work product.
- Minimum two (2) years’ leadership experience (role, team and/or project management).
- Experience making presentations to groups of individuals in a formal business setting. Provide list of examples and audiences. Demonstration of public speaking ability may be required during interview.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, including traditional waterfall, hybrid, and agile methodologies.

Responsibilities
- Aligns with Agile/SAFe methodologies used throughout the Company, working with other teams as needed.
- Defines and implements project management processes and standards based on the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) to ensure consistency across projects in alignment with the Enterprise EPMO and leads project teams in day-to-day execution and compliance with prescribed methodology processes.
- Develops and continually updates program or project plans, timelines, and deliverables while coordinating multiple processes to develop, expand or improve programs. Serves on project steering committees.
- Develops and maintains positive relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external as needed to collaborate on projects designed to improve processes. Communicates with all stakeholders regarding project management status and deliverables.
- Develops and manages vendor contract(s); manages project budget(s) and manages both project and vendor work.
- Develops presentations highlighting findings, analysis, recommendations, and action plans.
- Documents meetings, coordinates status reports and approvals on deliverables.
- Drives and delivers high quality solutions with aggressive timeframes and high-level stakeholder satisfaction.
- Employs continuous quality improvement (CQI) in all aspect of assigned responsibilities.
- Generates and presents periodic management reports to appropriate committees and provide recommendations as to changes or issues related to projects.
- Manages all aspects of project management, including leading work team direction and providing status reporting on an ongoing basis to appropriate leadership staff. Projects often involve several partners and may require collaboration with external entities, requiring expertise in developing and maintaining strong business relationships.
- Manages and leads project teams through all phases of the standard project lifecycle including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling and closing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
- Manages the hiring, coaching/training, employee development and performance management of Project Management team.
- Monitors and controls projects, ensuring efficient utilization of project resources. Participates in preparation and execution of the overall project plan.
- Participates in enterprise initiatives as directed by senior leadership staff.
