Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years’ experience in project and/or program management or a Master’s degree and 6 years’ experience in project and/or program management
• Knowledge & experience measuring performance using EVMS processes and reporting EVMS metrics
• Demonstrated understanding of program risk, opportunity and issue management process
• Experience managing projects
• Must have In-Scope DoD Secret clearance last investigated within 6 years or enrolled in continuous evaluation and the ability to obtain and maintain Program Access (PAR) within reasonable time as determined by business needs.

Responsibilities

• Managing the strategic rhythm of the Business Area
• Ensuring timely delivery of requirements to support internal and external stakeholders
• Support to priority and executive level and customer briefings
• Risk/issue/opportunity management
• Process ownership consistent with Enterprise and Sector/Corporate operating requirements
• Managing a complex team, directly and indirectly, through efficient and timely communication across the program execution team
• Direct line of leadership for a team of project management personnel to include performance management, staffing, career development/planning and engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree
• Must have prior management / leadership experience
• Demonstrated understanding of program risk, opportunity and issue management process
• Strong communication and team management credentials
• Ability to effectively operate within high business tempo
• Experience working with a matrix or homeroom environment
• Demonstrated experience supporting and influencing senior executives
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical issues and solutions
• Experience supporting large scale aircraft programs
