Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with a minimum of 6 years’ experience.
- 3 or more years of experience leading people and/or projects.
- Experience with MS Office products – PowerPoint, Project, Excel, Word.
- Experience with ERP/MRP system in a manufacturing environment.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
- Leading and directing cross-functional Integrated Program Teams (IPT) to meet program cost, schedule and technical performance objectives on manufacturing scope.
- Identification, distribution, tracking, and completion of program requirements.
- Development and adherence to master plans and baseline schedules.
- Development and adherence to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar cost & schedule control methodologies and tools.
- Conducting thorough risk & opportunity management practices including identification, mitigation and realization.
- Identifying, allocating and managing program resources, including workforce planning.
- Measuring and reporting program performance.
- Delivering presentations to executive management and other program stakeholders.
- Developing long term strategic planning, and development of proposals and business plans.
- Participate in the creation, review and finalization of the manufacturing Statement of Work.
- Ensuring Operations team understands and adheres to contract scope and manages change through control board activities.
- Adherence to all internal processes, policies, and applicable industry standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a STEM field or Management.
- 5 years experience in a Project Planning/Program Management environment.
- 2+ years direct people leadership experience.
- PMI certification and/or PMI-based training
- A current Secret clearance
- Experience with the following systems and concepts: – MRP and IMS Scheduling – SAP production planning and material management tools – Earned Value Management – Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing and Manufacturing
- Experience leading Manufacturing proposal efforts that include labor quoting, schedule and capacity analysis, investment planning, and descriptive writing contributions
- Experience managing production in SAP in a low volume, high mix manufacturing environment.
- Program execution experience.
- Experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers.
