Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or management field with 8 years of experience OR a High school diploma with 12 years of demonstrated experience as a lead or a supervisor in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience working in an Energetics manufacturing environment
- Prior management experience
- Ability to provide sound judgment to ensure overall safety, quality and efficiency of the department.
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and MS Office; experience using Solumina & Costpoint
- Eligible to obtain a DoD Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship is a prerequisite
- Flexible with work assignments
- Proactive safety attitude
Responsibilities
- Manage the Energetics Value Stream at ABL (approximately 30 managers and 190 individual contributors)
- Responsible for Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDEC) of energetic manufacturing on plants 1,2 and 3.
- Ensure a safe working environment is always maintained
- Provide clear and concise written and verbal instruction
- Interface with program management, operations supervision and engineering to maintain production delivery schedules
- Interface with maintenance and safety departments to issue routine and emergency maintenance permits
- Lead the Value Stream in continuous improvement activities
- Monitor and adjust manpower in support of Delivery requirements
- Develop direct reports
