Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in business (or related field) and/or Certified Supply Chain Management Professional
  • 5-7 years’ experience in project management, procurement, or supply chain management
  • Experience in multi-regional procurement projects, with a focus on delivering within deadlines and budgets
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with procurement management software (e.g., Birchstreet, D365) is an asset
  • Familiarity with global supply chain processes and risk management strategies
  • Strong background in procurement techniques, supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and cost control
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies
  • Familiarity with global market conditions and international sourcing strategies

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams to manage projects from inception through to completion, ensuring all deliverables are met within scope, time, and budget
  • Oversee UPI (high guest touch point) procurement and ensure that all project timelines and budgets are met
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and Owners to facilitate the procurement process, address risks, and maintain regular status updates
  • Facilitate operational reviews and coordinate UPI procurement-related project documentation, including purchase orders, schedules, and budgets
  • Provide clear and comprehensive project budget variance reports, and proactively resolve any procurement or delivery issues that may arise
  • Develop and implement project management best practices and processes to streamline team performance and reduce inefficiencies
  • Work with category leads to develop long-term project for UPI, aligning with overall business goals and regional needs
  • Work with Design Services and Operations teams to develop comprehensive procurement plans for new and ongoing projects, ensuring alignment with design specifications and operational requirements
  • Anticipate procurement challenges and plan risk mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution
  • Collaborate with senior management to review project progress, adjust plans, and deliver detailed project updates and planning documentation
  • Source and evaluate new suppliers and vendors, identifying the best suited for the project scope and budget requirements
  • Manage procurement processes, including Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotations (RFQs), and vendor negotiations
  • Ensure accurate tracking of procurement data, delivering regular status reports on supplier performance, project timelines, and budget compliance
  • Analyze market trends and supply chain risks to adjust procurement strategies and drive cost savings where possible
  • Drive continuous improvement in procurement and project management processes to increase efficiency across the team
  • Manage ad hoc reporting, such as cost savings tracking and annual reporting
  • Oversee relationships with Procurement Coordinators, providing mentorship and career development opportunities
  • Foster collaboration across departments to deliver value across the organization, including with Operations and Property teams
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as directed by the Senior Director or Director of S&P
