Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree – Healthcare Related Field
- 3 years Prenatal Care, Obstetrics or Post Partum Required
- Registered Nurse (RN) – Required
Responsibilities
- Managing the operational activities, strategic planning, and analysis and performance of the Prenatal Assistance Program
- Identifying the target population and providers who serve Medicaid beneficiaries
- Coordinating the patient and family/significant other home visit and education process
- Making decisions for direct reports and performing people management activities such as performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, staff planning, and interviews
- Supervising direct reports and managing the performance of individuals through ongoing coaching, feedback, and development
- Monitoring program contracts on an ongoing basis to ensure organizational compliance and ensure contractual requirements and deliverables are being met
- Providing oversight related to implementation for the program, collaboration with data analyst(s), community and tribal liaison, in addition to external resources needed for specific program implementation
- Ensuring all educational materials are up to date, evidence-based and in alignment with the practices of the Family Birth Center
