Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Proven experience in accounting management, including payroll management
  • 4-6 years of experience in accounting and payroll fields
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, payroll regulations, and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in Netsuite accounting software and ADP payroll systems
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the expense lifecycle, including general ledger entries, and accounts payable
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements
  • Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and relevant regulations
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
  • Manage cash flow and forecasting
  • Oversee and execute accurate and timely processing of payroll, including salaries, benefits, taxes, and deductions
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and reports
  • Manage year-end payroll processes, including W-2 preparation
  • Work with payroll software and systems
  • Supervise and mentor accounting and accounts payable staff, providing guidance and support
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback
  • Participate in audits and ensure compliance with internal controls
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as HR and finance
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve accounting processes and systems
