Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in continuous improvement role preferred
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
  • Strong understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and other process improvement tools and techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to travel up to 35%

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive OPEX strategy aligned with the overall business objectives of the medical distribution network.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team Black Belts, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project execution.
  • Oversee the identification, prioritization, and execution of continuous improvement projects across the network.
  • Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies and other best practices to identify and eliminate inefficiencies within distribution, planning, manufacturing teams to identify and reduce friction within our supply chain.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, measure performance, and track the impact of improvement initiatives.
  • Effectively manage change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimizing disruption to operations.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by effectively communicating with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and measure the effectiveness of OPEX initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within a distribution or logistics environment preferred
