Requirements
- Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- At least three years of experience in supporting, implementing, and managing student programs for learners in various domains.
- Proficiency in using various tools and technologies for creating and delivering instructional materials and activities, such as authoring tools, multimedia tools, learning management systems, web conferencing tools, etc.
- Knowledge of the principles and theories of learning science, instructional design, and project management, and the ability to apply them to different contexts and scenarios.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail, quality, and deadlines, and the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- A passion for learning and innovation, and a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
- Travel may be required for program management.
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of summer high school programs, ensuring all logistical aspects are executed smoothly and efficiently.
- Develop and manage program calendars, classroom reservations, housing/dining arrangements, to support program delivery.
- Supervise, hire, and onboard program staff, including seasonal instructors, teaching assistants, and student workers.
- Oversee event logistics, including new student orientations, student move-ins, and on-campus events, ensuring a positive experience for participants.
- Collaborate with the recruitment team on outreach efforts, including attending events.
- Serve as a member of the admissions review committee, evaluating applications and assisting in cohort-building decisions.
- Serve as a point of contact for students, parents, and other stakeholders, addressing inquiries and providing operational support.
- Oversee participant onboarding processes, ensuring clear communication of expectations, schedules, and resources.
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute projects and initiatives that align with Wharton Global Youth’s strategic goals.
- Collaborate with faculty and program leadership to ensure operational alignment with academic and professional standards.
- Monitor program performance and efficiency, identifying opportunities for process improvements to drive operational excellence.
