Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, specializing in SMT, PCB assembly, and DFM.
  • Expertise in PLM systems (Agile, Propel preferred) and ECO processes.
  • Strong background in debugging, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead SMT process development, ensuring high-quality and efficient manufacturing.
  • Implement DFM principles for SMT, PCB assembly, and system integration.
  • Optimize PCB manufacturing, including advanced PCB structures and large form-factor BGA components.
  • Oversee process validation, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
  • Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and version/revision control.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) from prototyping to full-scale production.
  • Utilize PLM systems such as Agile or Propel to track product lifecycles.
  • Drive data center equipment lifecycle management to ensure manufacturability.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance yield, cost efficiency, and quality.
  • Develop and implement best practices for SMT and PCB assembly.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, IPC guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams for efficient material flow.
  • Optimize inventory management to minimize waste and improve production efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience leading a manufacturing team (Preferred).
  • Experience with large form-factor BGA components and advanced PCB structures.
  • Knowledge of data center equipment lifecycle management and supply chain coordination.
