Manager Manufacturing Operations 3

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
At least 8 years of demonstrated leadership skills and abilities as evidenced by prior experience leading a team, project or in a supervisory role
Demonstrated detailed understanding of SAP and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)/Material Resource Planning (MRP) systems
Experience in a manufacturing, production, or repair environment
Fluent in MS Office Software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance

Plans and schedules the movement of raw materials, packaging materials, parts, components, services, supplies, finished goods and related material through production and inventory processes
Plans, prepares, issues and controls MRP and production schedules to ensure a controlled release and flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements
Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed
Confirms material supply and demands, releases work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements
Coordinates inter-departmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, etc.; schedules and expedites the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders.
