Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing) and 12+ years of experience or equivalent education and experience in lieu of degree
- Proficiency in LabVIEW and Python
- Experience designing test hardware interfaces
- Proven leadership in process improvement, root cause analysis, and corrective action
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing and testing of electromechanical systems
- Familiarity with ERP systems and managing BOMs, routings, and production costs
- Strong communication, project management, and team development skills
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers supporting manufacturing, test, and integration processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, R&D, Planning, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless operations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven methodologies
- Oversee test equipment validation, production workflows, and product lifecycle transitions
- Ensure on-time delivery, quality compliance, and a safe, efficient manufacturing environment
- Guide technical documentation, training programs, and standardized work procedures
- Develop team goals and individual development plans; foster a strong, collaborative culture
Preferred Qualifications
- IPC 610 Class 3 / J-STD-001 workmanship standards
- Soldering, SMT/thru-hole assembly, box build, cables, and rework
- RF, microwave, or timing system knowledge
- Experience introducing new products into manufacturing (NPI)
- Understanding of GD&T and general mechanical fabrication processes
