Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree(s) and/or applicable professional certifications (e.g., Juris Doctor or CPA) preferred
  • 5+ years of life sciences and/or healthcare industry experience; prior background in implementing holistic risk and legal/regulatory compliance programs preferred
  • Working knowledge of US federal and state laws and regulations in life sciences and healthcare, including fraud, waste, and abuse laws
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and craft cohesive storylines and communications
  • Influences and engages with all types of audiences to cultivate trust-based, peer-counselor relationships
  • Drives outcomes on cross-functional and complex topics and possesses exceptional organizational and project management skills
  • Exhibits highest levels of discretion and judgment in safeguarding confidential materials

Responsibilities

  • Lead the identification and mitigation of ethics and compliance-associated risks for delivery of projects in Life Sciences
  • Drive day-to-day E&C monitoring activities for Life Sciences projects, including compliance with contractual terms, regulatory requirements, guardrails, documentation retention requirements and any remediation plans
  • Support the development and maintenance of a targeted domain of policies, procedures and practices for identifying, managing and reporting on ethics and compliance risks associated with client service within the Life Sciences practices
  • Lead strategic and operational initiatives to monitor firm processes related to project scope and deliverable review throughout the lifecycle of projects
  • Synthesize data into insights to provide input for regular reporting to internal and external audiences on ethics and compliance matters associated with Life Sciences projects
  • Provide guidance on E&C related training and communications for client delivery teams within the Life Sciences practices
  • Collaborate on the development of training content and build reports on adherence to training and other requirements by client delivery teams within the Life Sciences practices
  • Engage in regionally focused initiatives to raise awareness of and further the firm’s E&C program
  • Facilitate collaboration with a cross-functional and senior stakeholder group across the firm
  • Play a critical role in sustaining and evolving the E&C program and upholding the commitment to integrity and lawful practices
