Requirements

  • Active Top Secret SCI security clearance with Polygraph
  • 8 Years of Industrial Security experience with Bachelors; or 6 Years of Industrial Security experience with Masters; an additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree
  • Leadership/Managerial Experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program, Intelligence Community Directives, and related training
  • Experience and familiarity with U.S. Government databases
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong skills in team building
  • Strong skills in educating and mentoring team members
  • Demonstrated success in leading organization change and transformation

Responsibilities

  • Leadership and management of a team of security professionals
  • Direct activities that support SAP & SCI level programs
  • Provide guidance to assure compliance with applicable National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and other security requirements
  • Act as the primary security liaison between Northrop Grumman and the government customer
  • Oversee all security activities and provide guidance to all personnel
  • Support program managers in achieving key goals
  • Participate in business development activities and plan security support for future business
  • Plan and execute a security labor and expense budget
  • Perform as the Facility Security Officer (FSO) for the site
  • Oversight of the San Antonio FSO
  • Emergency Preparedness / Contingency Planning responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in managing Industrial Security programs
  • Experience in managing Physical and Technical Security for secure facilities
  • Previous security management experience
  • Ability to effectively engage with team members on task completion
  • Ability to recognize opportunities and take independent action at resolving challenges
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with security peers and program management team members
