Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience:  Human Resources experience in a large organization with complex systems and multi-site responsibilities; supervisory experience
  • Four-year degree:  Business, Legal Studies, Human Resources, or related field
  • HR certification
  • Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Knowledge of the Company’s sales, operations, and financial processes
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques and practices
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and related applications
  • Knowledge of Workday or other information systems used in human resource applications
  • Analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, guide, and provide project management support for a team of HR Advisors.
  • Implement career planning, training, and development plans for HR Advisors.
  • Onboard and train new HR Advisors.
  • Oversee HR Advisor implementation of Company-wide HR strategies that support successful business outcomes.
  • Direct change management efforts and complex communication initiatives.
  • Provide critical information to HR Advisors in their roles as liaisons needed to support and deliver communication and roll out Company initiatives across all areas of HR.
  • Measure, report and monitor onboarding, engagement, recognition, and performance management activities.
  • Serve as second-level support to provide human resources guidance and counseling to managers and/or employees, when necessary, on the effective application of the Company’s HR policies, practices, and procedures in the areas of onboarding, performance management, employee development, training, compensation, and benefits.
  • Conduct investigations as needed and ensure that all investigations and/or reviews of employee, management or third-party concerns are completed in a timely fashion.
  • Stay abreast of local, state, and federal laws; advise HR Advisors of changes. Ensure HR Advisor compliance and take remedial action when necessary.
  • Verify compliance with federal, state, and local employment and labor regulations.
