Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or a related field
  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in a high volatile global strategic sourcing environment, preferably in large multi-national companies in the electronics industry
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing sourcing strategies that align with organizational goals
  • Experience in working with components manufacturer in multiple types of components categories (MCUs, Memories, Actives.. etc)
  • Strong overall knowledge of the Supply Chain, including sourcing and procurement, demand/supply planning, inventory deployment, and logistics and fulfillment
  • Deep understanding of relevant manufacturing processes, especially in areas of contract manufacturing
  • Experience conducting business in foreign countries
  • Demonstrated success in developing/starting new, international supply chains
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Experience managing complex supplier contracts
  • Ability to manage a multi-functional supply base focused on the use of their capabilities to leverage scale through the most efficient processes, quality management systems and continuous improvements
  • Passion for mentorship and sharing knowledge with colleagues

Responsibilities

  • Ability to work as part of a virtual global team to collaborate across geographic and organizational boundaries to deliver better business results and share best practices across a global team
  • Lead the development and execution of global sourcing strategies for assigned categories to deliver cost savings, innovation, and supplier value
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring performance standards are met and fostering long-term partnerships
  • Exhibits subject matter expertise regarding commercial and technology trends, to advise internal users on current and future market capabilities
  • Drive negotiations for high-value contracts, focusing on cost optimization, quality, delivery performance, and risk management
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, price fluctuations, and geopolitical factors
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and align sourcing strategies with corporate goals
  • Drive cost reduction and efficiency improvements through the identification of new suppliers and innovative sourcing strategies
