Requirements

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 5 years of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the fixed asset accounting process, including the recording of acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation.
• Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing direction and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, encouraging open communication and teamwork.
• Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations to ensure team members are meeting expectations and achieving their objectives.
• Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of fixed asset accounts.
• Prepare and review fixed asset reports and schedules for internal and external reporting.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper classification and recording of fixed assets.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards related to fixed assets.
• Assist in the development and implementation of fixed asset policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance and support to team members on fixed asset accounting matters.
• Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations related to fixed assets.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of fixed asset accounting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
• Previous people or project team management experience.
• Experience with application and implementation of various innovative technologies like RPA, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, etc.
