Requirements
- 5-8 years of product management or related experience
- Hands on experience with Private Equity and back-office systems
- Demonstrated success in defining and building products
- Strong understanding of product management principles and Agile methodologies
- Relationship building and collaboration skills across diverse and matrixed stakeholders
- Organizational, problem-solving and planning skills, including the ability to multi-task
- Strong team player mindset, with ability to lead and influence
- Ability to surface, prioritize, and balance multiple stakeholder priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver presentations and communicate across all levels within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders and Information Technology (IT) management to define the product vision and strategy for our enterprise systems that aligns with organizational objectives, business goals, and stakeholder needs.
- Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap. Champion the roadmap and build alignment across HarbourVest.
- Establish key performance indicators and metrics to measure value add and product success.
- Clearly articulate the business value to engineering and delivery teams, defining the ‘who’, ‘what’, ‘why’ and collaborating with engineering and the vendor to determine the ‘how’ and ‘when’.
- Engage with business stakeholders and IT teams to prioritize the backlog and make decisions on tradeoffs.
- Facilitate regular communication with stakeholders to keep them informed of product updates.
- Leverage data and user feedback to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
