Requirements

  • Between 3-4 years of experience in PR and earned media; agency experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; verbal and written.
  • Strong decision-making and project management skills; deadline and detail oriented.
  • In-depth knowledge of the evolving media landscape.
  • Experience working with integrated teams and on integrated campaigns.
  • Social media and influencer marketing literacy.
  • Some experience with reputation/issues/crisis management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage earned media on businesses including consumer, health and corporate clients.
  • Foster best practices across client campaigns and lead the execution of successful initiatives.
  • Implement media strategies from concept to execution, finding new ways to meet client objectives and achieve results.
  • Provide proactive and reactive strategic media counsel to key clients.
  • Connect with teams to develop integrated approaches to work.
  • Forge strong connections with key media contacts to leverage on behalf of clients.
  • Actively monitor for and be an early adopter of new media trends, platforms, and practices that could serve clients across the portfolio.
  • Identify news cycles, cultural shifts, industry trends and issues that affect clients, distilling meaningful insights and inserting clients’ narratives in targeted, relevant and insightful ways.
  • Contribute to new business opportunities and pitches with creative media ideas.
