Requirements
- Between 3-4 years of experience in PR and earned media; agency experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; verbal and written.
- Strong decision-making and project management skills; deadline and detail oriented.
- In-depth knowledge of the evolving media landscape.
- Experience working with integrated teams and on integrated campaigns.
- Social media and influencer marketing literacy.
- Some experience with reputation/issues/crisis management.
Responsibilities
- Manage earned media on businesses including consumer, health and corporate clients.
- Foster best practices across client campaigns and lead the execution of successful initiatives.
- Implement media strategies from concept to execution, finding new ways to meet client objectives and achieve results.
- Provide proactive and reactive strategic media counsel to key clients.
- Connect with teams to develop integrated approaches to work.
- Forge strong connections with key media contacts to leverage on behalf of clients.
- Actively monitor for and be an early adopter of new media trends, platforms, and practices that could serve clients across the portfolio.
- Identify news cycles, cultural shifts, industry trends and issues that affect clients, distilling meaningful insights and inserting clients’ narratives in targeted, relevant and insightful ways.
- Contribute to new business opportunities and pitches with creative media ideas.
