Requirements
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum 5 years of Accounting Experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of D&B reporting
- Experience in multi-unit business environment, preferably in a retail industry
- CPA, CMA or other certifications in credit or collections
- Experience in a shared service environment, preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Lead the Credit and Collections Department compromised of a credit management team, and delinquent accounts collection team within a Shared Service Center, serving over 200 retail locations and Corporate Headquarters operations.
- Recruit, hire, develop and retain a world class Accounts Receivable team
- Direct credit management team to establish and monitor credit lines for regular wholesale and retail customers in order to support retail operations while managing risk
- Manage collections team to identify and pursue aged receivables
- Ensure bad debt reserves for all aged receivables comply with AN policy
- Foster a superior customer service culture in all interactions with stores and vendors
- Maintain effective internal controls to ensure adherence to AN policies and procedures
- Consistently meet service level agreements in all areas of the department
- Successfully manage the implementation of new processing and control technologies, and identify opportunities for continual improvement
