Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in film/TV production, creative development, or technology-driven roles supporting production innovation
  • Proven success leading cross-functional teams and working directly with filmmakers and creative stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of creative workflows across pre-production, production, and post, especially how new tools and services can intersect with traditional pipelines
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships and surface clear, actionable insights
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and loosely defined initiatives, with the ability to drive clarity and forward momentum
  • Thoughtful approach to innovation, enthusiastic about experimentation, but grounded in what is meaningful and scalable

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Senior Manager of Creative Innovation on all creator-facing projects, including sourcing opportunities, early meetings, building teams, and scoping. Partner directly with filmmakers and creative leadership to co-design pilots that support their vision.
  • Lead innovation pilots from concept to execution, aligning internal and external partners to test new technologies and services that address real production needs, while ensuring on-set success and strategic alignment with Netflix priorities.
  • Collaborate closely with Eyeline Studios and Studio cross-functional teams to ensure that efforts are integrated across Netflix’s broader innovation ecosystem. Pair the right service and technology partners to each opportunity.
  • Work with Consumer Insights to capture key learnings from pilots and engagements. Translate outcomes into recommendations and share learnings with leadership stakeholders to inform future strategy and investments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience partnering with internal and external tech teams (e.g. VFX, virtual production, AI, R&D, or platform services)
  • Familiarity with strategic vendor and technology partner evaluation
  • Prior involvement in creative tool R&D, emerging content formats, or new pipeline workflows with filmmakers
  • Strong EQ and cultural fluency, experience collaborating with creators and teams across regions and genres
