Requirements

  • Experience with big data technologies and familiarity with range of data tools (Big Data Tools, Datameer, Teradata, SQL, Python)
  • Deep experience on Business Intelligence Tools (Alteryx, Datameer, PowerBI)
  • Experience building automated solutions using different tools combined (SQL, Excel, Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Experience in analytics and the usage of statistical methods and ability to translate technical data findings into clear business friendly insights
  • Strong ETL principles around data and logic, cleaning and mining
  • Ability to perform complex data analysis on large volumes of data
  • Strong knowledge of design, development, and implementation experience utilizing data science technologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Development and maintenance of automated processes using tools such as SQL, Teradata, Datameer and Tableau
  • Support teams in standardizing recurring reports and dashboards for commercial banking teams
  • Help reduce manual workload by building repeatable workflows and data pipelines
  • Maintain data quality checks to ensure that reports are accurate and up to date
  • Connect data from various sources (internal systems, databases, excel files) into cohesive views for analysis
  • Troubleshoot data, reporting issues and provide support for ad hoc data requests
  • Be able to follow a DRY (Don’t Repeat Yourself) development practice. Creating solutions once, to be used many times
  • Manage Use Cases, specific to Commercial Banking on Data Analytic
  • Construct Data Models to demonstrate behavior monitoring and trends
  • Facilitate the turn-over of data to analytics and insights
  • Maintain and enhance existing data transformation and reporting tools
  • Support the implementation of new tools that will enable the department’s ability to produce fast insights, proactively identifying and justifying new automation or reporting opportunities and building the business case around new projects and technology
  • Recommend improvements to processes and workflows based on recurring issues or inefficiencies
  • Participate in sprint planning or project meetings to support team goals and priorities
  • Coach business users and peers on how use our interpret reports, leverage dashboard and use data solutions to ensure clarity, efficiency and self-serve adoption
  • Share knowledge and documentation to support consistency and reusability across the team
  • Stay current with new tools and best practices in data automation and reporting based on team’s needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Datameer and/or other BI Tools experience
  • Commercial segment & business products knowledge
  • Tableau and other visualization tools experience
  • System implementation and business case creation experience
  • Python & PySpark automation experience.
