Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience developing and implementing policies and procedures in a Technology setting.
- Agile methodology including using common tools such as Jira, roadmapping, managing sprints and backlogs, and tracking resource usage.
- Ability to drive change and innovation within a technical organization.
- Proven track record of improving the technology policies and processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience working in program management, release management, or IT change management.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Experience with IT service management frameworks (e.g. ITIL).
Responsibilities
- Lead the Release Engineering team, consisting of Release Engineers.
- Lead Change Enablement meetings to facilitate communication and timing of major changes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including IT leadership, business stakeholders, and external auditors.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of software engineers focused on build and deployment automation, process automation, and tooling integrations in support of the end-to-end development and release process.
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by regularly soliciting feedback and implementing iterative improvements to TCGplayer’s Change & Release Enablement practices.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and evolving governance frameworks, identifying opportunities for innovation and differentiation in TCGplayer’s Change & Release Engineering.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, tutorials, and training resources to help TCGplayer Technology employees maximize the benefits of the TCGplayer’s Change & Release Enablement framework and tooling.
