Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- 6 years of experience in the job offered, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related occupation
- Experience in database technologies including Postgres or Oracle
- Experience with monitoring tools including Instana or AppD
- Experience with Oracle DB or Exadata
- Experience with SQL/PLSQL and Python
- Experience with Unix and Linux operating systems, including Shell Scripting
- Experience with JSON
- Experience creating and managing applications with JBoss, App Dynamics, and Netcool
- Experience with continuous improvement/continuous development tools including Github and Jenkins
Responsibilities
- Mentor and lead a staff of engineers in both technical and soft skills
- Ensure the group adheres to principles of engineering excellence within their technical domain
- Apply consistency of technical execution
- Share common practices and challenges within the team
- Foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the team
- Manage telecommuting and/or working from home arrangements
- Travel domestically up to 10% as required
