Requirements

  • Extensive relevant experience in data analytics, with a focus on marketing analytics in a B2B environment leveraging SFDC for lead management and progression.
  • Proven experience managing a team of data analysts and providing leadership, mentorship, and guidance in a marketing analytics environment.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.
  • Experience with marketing analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, Marketo, or Adobe Analytics to measure and optimize marketing performance.
  • Expertise in A/B testing, multivariate testing, and other experimentation techniques for marketing optimization.
  • Deep knowledge of customer segmentation, targeting strategies, and the ability to analyze customer behavior to improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally with product, sales, and finance teams to align marketing data with business objectives.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement data-driven marketing strategies, influencing product and business decisions with actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Marketing Analytics Team: Manage and oversee the daily operations of the marketing analytics team, ensuring timely delivery of insights, reports, and recommendations. Develop team goals and align them with business objectives.
  • Develop and Implement Marketing Analytics Strategies: Design and implement data-driven marketing strategies that optimize customer acquisition, retention, and engagement. Ensure that analytics initiatives are aligned with broader marketing goals and business priorities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, sales, and finance teams to integrate marketing analytics into broader business strategies. Ensure that marketing decisions are supported by data insights and inform product and business strategies.
  • Drive Data-Driven Marketing Decisions: Lead efforts in campaign optimization, ROI analysis, and customer segmentation. Provide actionable insights to improve marketing performance and help prioritize marketing initiatives.
  • A/B Testing & Experimentation: Oversee the design, execution, and analysis of A/B tests and other experimentation methodologies to validate marketing strategies, measure effectiveness, and refine marketing campaigns.
  • Team Development & Mentorship: Mentor and develop junior analysts by providing guidance, fostering professional growth, and ensuring that best practices in marketing analytics are followed. Lead by example to maintain high team performance.
  • Reporting & Dashboards: Oversee the creation and maintenance of dashboards and reports that track key marketing KPIs, such as customer acquisition cost (CAC), customer lifetime value (CLV), and conversion rates. Ensure insights are communicated clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Data Quality & Best Practices: Ensure the integrity and consistency of marketing data by implementing data governance and best practices for data collection, analysis, and reporting.
