Mammography Tech – Pd – Days – Imaging – Mammo – Women’s Imaging Center

Requirements

• Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certificate
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists-Mammography Certification (ARRT (M))
• Graduate of an accredited educational program in radiologic technology
• BLS certificate
• Meets initial and continuing qualifications for CME and CE under the MQSA
• Performs Dexa scans within 3 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with other members of the healthcare team to promote optimum imaging procedures
• Provides imaging services as defined by Title 17 (Radiologic Health Branch) and Title 22 (Department of Health Services) for the State of California
• Applies the principles in assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and modifying patient imaging care as an active, continuous process
• May be filled by a Mammography Tech I or II, depending upon qualifications
• Will be expected, as needed, to accept work assignments across departments or El Camino Hospital campuses (Mountain View and Los Gatos) or locations within a 15-mile radius
