Maintenance Worker III-Electrician

Any combination equivalent of high school and two or more years of experience at journey level in one or more of the trades with emphasis in the electrical area.
Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade, supplemented by coursework or training in electrical and fire codes, modern electrical repair and telecommunication, maintenance repair.
Possession of a valid Missouri Motor Vehicle Operator’s License.
Insurability by the facility’s liability insurance carrier.

Operate the variety of tools and equipment utilized in the performance of duties in multiple trades.
Perform electrical installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
Test and evaluate electronic systems and installations.
Install, maintain, and repair various types of electrical equipment, including clocks, alarms, and communications systems.
Plan and layout skilled work, including estimating time and material cost.
Skillfully use a variety of hand and power tools, machines and equipment utilized in the repair, maintenance and building trades.
Comply with appropriate safety precautions and procedures.
Understand and follow oral and written instructions and standard work procedures.
Work cooperatively with others.
Maintain routine records.
Observe legal and defensive driving principles.
Practice proper safety practices in the operation of equipment.
Maintain daily time sheets and records of work accomplished.
