Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 2-4 Years of Experience in relatable industrial/trades maintenance or operations
- Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of technical training
- Valid Driver’s License
- Intermediate level computer skills in using systems such as CMMS, Microsoft Office, Building Automation Systems
- Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with minimal oversight with intermediate level technical skills in facility maintenance
Responsibilities
- Conducts preventive maintenance tasks and repairs on basic facility systems and documents tasks through the computerized maintenance system
- Assists in evaluating and troubleshooting basic building system failures and performs repairs as directed
- Operates and monitors and maintains basic Utility System Infrastructure
- Assist in maintaining fire alarm and fire protection systems
- Supports the installation of building hardware, electrical devices, and wall finishes under supervision
- Maintains preventive maintenance records and equipment repair files for compliance
- Reads blueprints, Life Safety drawings and maintenance manuals to gain knowledge needed to complete assignments
Preferred Qualifications
- Recognized community college/tech school trade certificate experience or completion of a recognized community college program
- Trade/Tech School Trades Certificate or trades or industry recognized certification/license requiring Continuing Education Units or periodic renewal to maintain
- 2+ Years of Experience in relatable industrial/trades maintenance or operations
