Maintenance Tech II

Become qualified as a crane lift supervisor
Familiar with compressors, turbines, pumps (multistage), valves, coolers, and fans
Completion of recognized mechanical apprenticeship or other Trade/Technical degree in a related field is highly desirable
Knowledge of industry safety regulations and operating practices
Good interpersonal and good verbal and written communications skills
Must be able to work as an individual contributor or as part of a team as the work dictates
Demonstrated commitment to safety
Ability to use MS Office programs and knowledge of SAP or other computer-based Maintenance Programs
Ability to provide out of hours assistance for plant emergencies and operational/maintenance issues on a call-out basis
Ability to be on-call on weekends
This is a safety sensitive role

Perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on an assortment of pumps, compressors, and turbines
Ensure that all plant mechanical machineries are maintained to a safe and serviceable condition, so that they can consistently attain their performance targets
Accountable to perform assigned Critical activities as per Process Safety requirements
Update maintenance records, investigation findings & prepare relevant reports
Work with technical staff and plant management to resolve plant and equipment problems as they arise in the safest and most effective way
Oversee contractors to ensure work is completed according to company standards
Initiate purchasing procedures when necessary to ensure enough replacement parts and supplies are always on hand
Perform non-routine maintenance duties as necessary or as directed by Supervisor to ensure minimum production downtime
Assist in the proper storage and disposal of both hazardous and non-hazardous waste according to Company policy and applicable regulatory agency guidelines
Provide support for Turnaround execution
