Maintenance Tech II

Minimum of 5+ years maintenance experience preferably in distribution, including HVAC, electrical, conveyor systems, plumbing, material handling equipment, etc.
Ability to read and understand manuals, blueprints, repair instructions, schematics, & test instruments.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
Ability and willingness to work non-traditional shifts and hours, including weekends.
Be Safety-Minded.

Repair and maintain all equipment and systems within the facility.
Perform routine preventive maintenance or repairs to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of building does not deteriorate.
Inspect, operate, or test machinery, equipment, or systems to diagnose machine malfunctions.
Repair and maintenance of conveyor systems.
Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.
Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.
Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions, following checklists.
Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work.
Work with outside contractors for major repair and maintenance issues, including obtaining quotes, etc.
