Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Maintenance Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a maintenance planning or reliability engineering role within a manufacturing or tooling environment
  • Leadership skills to work under pressure and with different areas throughout the factory
  • Solid understanding of machining equipment, toolroom assets, and support systems used in HPDC die manufacturing
  • Hands-on experience with Flux or other CMMS systems for work order and asset management
  • Knowledge of predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance strategies
  • Experience developing work instructions, maintenance schedules, and technical documentation
  • Certifications in reliability or maintenance planning (e.g., CRL, CMRP, PMP)
  • Experience integrating CMMS systems with purchasing or inventory platforms
  • Background in die casting, mold/tool maintenance, or similar heavy precision environments

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a Preventive Maintenance (PM) program for machines, tools, and shop infrastructure based on OEM guidelines, usage patterns, and risk analysis
  • Set up and maintain the spare parts management system in Flux, including BOM creation, critical parts identification, min-max levels, and supplier coordination
  • Generate, schedule, and track work orders and maintenance instructions for all maintenance-related activities in Flux
  • Establish standard operating procedures and checklists for maintenance tasks
  • Implement and support Predictive Maintenance techniques such as vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis where applicable
  • Coordinate and support Corrective Maintenance activities, ensuring timely response to unplanned breakdowns with minimal disruption to production
  • Collaborate with the production and tooling teams to align maintenance schedules with production needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation of equipment history, maintenance logs, and improvement actions
  • Monitor maintenance KPIs (downtime, MTTR, MTBF, etc.) and continuously improve asset reliability and availability
