Requirements

  • Technical Education in either Electrical or Mechanical Field
  • 10+ years of industrial maintenance experience
  • 5+ years of leadership/managerial experience
  • Experience with MRO/stock parts, permit issues, and PM plans.
  • Experience with Electrical, Instrumentation and Control Systems.
  • Proven success initiating productivity improvements to include implementation of new equipment or new process
  • Strong knowledge of GMP and Food and Safety Practices.
  • Experience implementing & maintaining site wide safety-related programs.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including overtime, evenings, holidays as required, and weekends as needed
  • Process Safety Management (PSM).
  • Six Sigma/ Lean Manufacturing training

Responsibilities

  • Management responsibility for the Maintenance department Responsible for the authorization and approval for all maintenance overtime and shift adjustments.
  • Oversee the maintenance employee performance appraisal function annually.
  • Ensure the highest level of quality finish on all maintenance work.
  • Responsible for enforcing GMP standards in all maintenance and contractor work in the plant.
  • Responsible for the timely completion of PM programs, annual compliance inspections, and all adhoc and breakdown maintenance work.
  • Oversight of maintaining proper spare part inventory levels to minimize disruption to operations.
  • Ensure that all tasks are completed in a safe manner, working closely with the EHS and Food safety teams to grow the safety culture.
  • Support and participate in activities that promote employee ownership and engagement in E,H&S, including leading Process safety initiatives.
  • Support site incident investigation system, ensuring proper classification, thorough root cause investigations and appropriate corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurrence.
  • Gather data and maintain systems to track maintenance output, uptime, and any other measures required to support improvement and capacity release.
  • Provide training and support as needed to develop maintenance team members.
  • Help support Carrollton’s response teams, in drills and actual incidents.
  • Support and give technical input into all continuous improvement initiatives in operations.
  • Oversee Site Capex projects and engage with vendors.
  • Ensure maintenance purchases are processed and managed as per requirements.
