Requirements

  • High School education or equivalent required
  • 3 months to 1 year employment in a related position within Four Seasons or other organizations
  • Working Technical Knowledge of general building maintenance is required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and follow up with engineers on scheduled Preventative Maintenance tasks.
  • Possess basic knowledge of HVAC systems and assist with routine maintenance as needed.
  • Monitor building temperatures via the BMS (Building Management System) and perform physical temperature checks throughout the facility.
  • Manage and follow up on equipment repairs, including motors, starters, breakers, chillers, and related systems throughout the building.
  • Assist in ordering supplies via BirchStreet and ensure timely updating of invoices.
  • Monitor par stock levels and oversee the distribution of inventory items.
  • Respond promptly to guest service calls regarding maintenance issues in guest rooms and public areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness in all Engineering areas, including grease traps and plumbing systems, and support an organized department and hotel environment.
  • React effectively to all emergency situations, including fires and power outages.
  • Support the installation or relocation of any additional equipment or existing equipment when necessary.
  • Assist with energy conservation programs in the hotel.
  • Support the installation of electrical and mechanical systems for renovations, outlet additions and associated equipment and of electrical set ups for exhibits including maintenance of those set-ups.
