Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Understanding of application development and/or support and coding.
- Foundational knowledge of business concepts and terms.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing basic information about application release and deployment.
Responsibilities
- Performs problem tracking, diagnosis and root-cause analysis, replication, troubleshooting, and resolution.
- Responds to issues in a timely manner by receiving and investigating incidents or service tickets.
- May analyze trends with technical issues and provide input to developing short- or long-term improvements.
- Documents all relevant end-user interactions and steps taken to resolve incidents.
- May have occasional contact with end-users.
- Works within standard guidelines and a high degree of supervision in order to gain practical skills.
- Analyzes basic information and makes decisions within guidelines to solve problems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems and one year of IT work experience.
- Understanding of relational database design and concepts
- Curious and creative.
