Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of college course work in accounting or data processing preferred
  • Completion of the training and receipt of certification on the use of electric pallet jacks required
  • Strong understanding of emerging technology with proficiency in various software applications to include the Microsoft Office programs often including task of data analysis, online communication, and managing/working in online digital platforms specific to mail/business operations
  • Compliance and/or auditing experience
  • Customer Service Experience
  • One year of related experience as mail clerk and shipping/receiving clerk preferred
  • Basic proficiency using Microsoft Office applications preferred

Responsibilities

  • Receive, process and distribute ordinary mail, and/or receive incoming deliveries and verify shipments using internal documents such as purchase orders and vendor documents such as packing slips, bills of lading, or invoices
  • Process outgoing mail by applying appropriate postage and ensuring it is ready for pick-up at the end of the workday
  • At the end of each month, document all outgoing mail charges to departments for approval by management
  • Support outgoing FedEx, UPS, USPS, and courier deliveries
  • Enter data into multiple computer systems
  • Correct and verify that data is entered accurately and within established deadlines
  • Fill, track, send, and maintain stock for department and customer supply orders
  • Move items from Receiving Dock, often using heavy equipment such as a manual and/or electric pallet jack, to locations throughout the Bank
  • Work with other departments to ensure that received materials, goods, packages, etc., are moved off the dock in an efficient and timely manner
  • Create and retain documentation of receipts and deliveries
  • Account for all items received and delivered using computer software programs, databases, and spreadsheets
  • Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls providing exceptional customer service
  • Complete asset inventory for Bank Art documenting location and general condition of individual pieces
  • Complete Art allocations for customers to review available Art
  • Assist with Bank sign processes
  • Provide event support as needed
  • Maintain assigned department files
  • Manage undeliverable mail and department mailings
  • Continually seek and implement methods to improve customer service and operating efficiencies
  • Assist other business units with their work tasks and job responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, research, and resolve routine issues
  • Complete ad-hoc work assignments and/or participate on projects when assigned by the unit supervisor

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of college course work in accounting or data processing preferred
