Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with ML engineering, data science, research engineering, software engineering, development, or full stack engineering, including in an academic or professional environment
- Experience with object-oriented programming in Java, C++, or Python
- Experience with developing software architecture with containerization tools, including Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience in the Special Operations or DoD community
- Experience with databases, including SQL
- Knowledge of data science fundamentals and methods
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Responsibilities
- Train, test, deploy, and maintain models that learn from data
- Own and define the direction of mission-critical solutions by applying best-fit ML algorithms and technologies
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, solutions architects, and product owners to deliver world class solutions to the special operations community
- Guide clients as they navigate the landscape of ML algorithms, tools, and frameworks
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience developing and deploying machine learning models into production within DoD enclaves
- Experience with training models in Databricks with MLflow
- Experience with software development, including API development or database management, and model deployment and usage with JavaScript frameworks, including React, Angular, or Node.js
- Knowledge of DoD and IC domain and artificial intelligence principles and practices
- Ability to deploy production application to a Cloud environment, including Google Cloud or Amazon Web Services
- Master’s degree
