Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university AND five (5) years of experience in software industry in a private, public, government or military environment.
- OR High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution and a minimum of 9 years of experience in software industry in a private, public, government or military environment.
- Expertise in one or more programming languages, Python preferred (e.g. Python, Java, Go, C++, etc).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD workflows, containerization, and infrastructure as code (IaC)
Responsibilities
- Automate aspects of the machine learning model lifecycle and support data scientists to optimize the development, and maintenance of machine learning solutions in the cloud.
- Implement and execute best practices and security standards for operating with protected data.
- Design, implement, and contribute to shared libraries for data engineering, model training, model deployment, and CI/CD tooling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Experience building in a cloud-first environment in a highly regulated sector, preference given to AWS.
- Experience with data extract, transform, and load (ETL) pipelines at large scale.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning technologies and platforms such as PyTorch, TorchServe, and AWS SageMaker.
- Track record of taking initiative to improve developer workflows and end-to-end machine learning pipelines.
