Requirements
- 5 or more years in operational and/or supply chain experience supporting international shipments
- Minimum of High School Diploma/GED
- Understanding of Incoterms (International Trade Association)
Responsibilities
- Ensure Transport Management System (OTM) and process compliance and integrity for multiple regions
- Optimize shipments, improve on time delivery, and cost efficiency of customer deliveries through Lean approach
- Evaluate and drive transport mode and service level optimization
- Investigate logistics non-conformances, identify, and record corrective actions
- Work cross functionally with stakeholders, members of the Gas Power Logistics team and business operations related to the logistics strategy and execution
- Accountable for accurate OTM and logistics related data and associated KPI report availability
- Provide excellent and prompt customer service via phone and email
- Accountable for executing transportation goals, strategies, and procedures in accordance with Gas Power Logistics initiatives
- Lead the shipment planning process by enhanced system utilization and contractual coverage through collaboration with business operations
- Assist with issues related to Information Technology impacting customer experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong facilitation skills, ability to work independently.
- Degree in Supply Chain Management preferred.
- Experience with process improvements, Lean and Kaizen.
- Comfortable in matrixed cross-functional environments.
- Demonstrated ability to improve metrics.
- Experience with training others.
- Operational planning.
- Strong computer skills and experience working in MRP systems.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
