Requirements

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience as a General Manager or Regional Manager of multiple properties in a hospitality or event management business.
  • Extensive background in event management, sales, and promotion.
  • Proven experience managing a team of leaders in a multi-unit environment.
  • Expertise in profitability analysis, budgeting, and financial planning.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle immediate and long-term challenges.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) and tools like ROME and Tableau.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate respectfully across all levels of business.
  • Ability to work evening and weekend hours as required.
  • Travel requirements: up to 50% of the time.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain high standards of customer service for staff, customers, and vendors.
  • Identify and maximize revenue drivers while optimizing the overall guest and artist experience.
  • Develop strategic venue plans aligned with divisional and corporate budget goals and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Premium Seat Sales, Food and Beverage, Ancillary Product, Sponsorship and Business Development to create innovative offerings that drive revenue growth and fan engagement.
  • Manage expenses to maximize profits while protecting guest and artist experiences.
  • Provide leadership for General Managers in multi-unit, multi-state environments.
  • Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety requirements, policies, and procedures.
  • Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, profitability analysis, and forecasting in tools like ROME and Tableau.
  • Monitor and review General Manager performance, fostering career development opportunities.
  • Work closely with civic and governmental departments and foster community engagement.
  • Spend time onsite at venues during events to ensure successful operations from load-in to load-out.
  • Support tour security requirements and ensure compliance with corporate audit procedures.
  • Work closely with joint venture partners to ensure seamless collaboration with those who have equity interests in certain parts of the business, fostering mutual success and alignment of goals.
