Responsibilities
- Install, configure, test, and maintain system management tools, infrastructure, and server applications
- Participate in the design of information and operational systems
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with vendors to implement fixes
- Monitor, identify, and resolve server and storage issues
- Communicate and coordinate with vendors, customer teams, and multiple stakeholders regarding requirements, workflows, and problem resolution actions
- Develop and maintain custom scripts to automate tedious, repetitive, and/or correct error prone tasks related to provisioning, installation, configuration, and management of IT systems and services
- Prepare and maintain documentation for system and application configurations
Preferred Qualifications
- Development and programming experience (preferred language is C/C++) with an ability to parallelize is preferred
- Knowledge of Bash, Python, and MPI is useful
- Experience with GPU development tools (CUDA) is a plus, but is not required
