Requirements
- Graduation from a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program
- Licensed as an LPN within the state of South Carolina or a compact state
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- One year of LPN experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provides patient/family centered care
- Assists with data collection and formulation of plans for patient care
- Participates in evaluation of outcomes of nursing actions
- Assists medical staff with preparation, examination, and procedures
- Performs telephone and in-person screenings
- Documents findings relevant to patient’s health care status or plan of care
- Prioritizes and documents patient incoming phone calls regarding medications and medical conditions
- Cleans and stocks examination rooms and/or other supply areas
- Documents all patient care delivered in the medical record according to the medical center policy
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of LPN experience preferred
