Requirements
- Licensed Behavioral Health Professional – Completion of curriculum requirements for a master’s degree in psychology, social work, guidance and counseling, or closely related field.
- Must possess a license as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LADC, or similar license in the behavioral health field.
- Licensed Candidate Behavioral Health Professional – Completion of curriculum requirements for a master’s degree in psychology, social work, guidance and counseling, or closely related behavioral health field.
- Must be license-eligible or under supervision for licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LADC, or similar license in the behavioral health field.
- Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Provides professional telephone and on-site emergency/crisis intervention and therapy services to children struggling with mental health or substance abuse issues and their families.
- Participates with an interdisciplinary team in treatment and discharge planning.
- May have supervisory duties assigned which include administrative responsibility for Behavioral Health Case Managers.
