Requirements

  • Must be able to, with or without accommodation, perform the essential functions which include, but are not limited to seeing, hearing, typing, and speaking.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (equivalent work experience may be considered).
  • Must be comfortable writing complex formulas and queries to support scalable data architecture and insights delivery.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience, with strong proficiency in tools and languages such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, R, Alteryx, Python, Azure, and Snowflake. Experience with AI/ML a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform complex statistical analysis and predictive modeling using data analytics tools to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in legal data.
  • Gathering, processing, and cleaning data from various sources, including case management systems, financial and claims databases.
  • Lead or participate in data science projects aimed at developing new methodologies and tools for data analysis. Provide input on satisfaction surveys and performance audit frameworks to help gain relevant and consistent data.
  • Explore datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Applying statistical techniques to analyze data and draw inferences.
  • Create detailed reports and visualizations using business intelligence software (PowerBI) to present findings to the legal team, including advanced data visualizations and dashboards.
  • Recommend enhancements, provide satisfaction surveys, through data-driven insights, leveraging workflow automation tools and machine learning algorithms.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of data sources, methodologies, and processes used in analysis to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
  • Partner with the enterprise data team to document and maintain data governance standards and security, ensuring data is appropriately protected.
