Responsibilities
- Present course material in conjunction with the primary instructor.
- Be present in the lab to assist students with course assignments.
- Meet regularly with the primary instructor, Program Director, Division Director, students if needed, and other parties as required.
- Attend faculty meetings.
- Conduct online sessions with students, if needed, via CarmenZoom.
Preferred Qualifications
- Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) credential
- Experience in management in Health Information Management, training, and mentoring direct reports in various positions in Health Information Management.
- Master’s Degree; teaching experience including a record of intentional teaching practice including (a) creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all learners, (b) using new techniques, activities and types of learning, (c) promoting open-minded exploration.
