Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Education, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in instructional design, preferably with a focus on leadership and people-centric content.
  • Proven ability to design effective learning solutions across multiple modalities.
  • Strong grasp of adult learning theory, instructional design methodologies, and leadership development best practices.
  • Experience with authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate), video editing, and digital content creation.
  • Proficiency in collaboration and design platforms (e.g., Miro, Microsoft Teams, Canva).
  • Excellent facilitation skills and communications skills in both virtual and in-person environments.
  • Experience working with LMS platforms and managing course rollouts.
  • Strong collaboration and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop inclusive, learner-centered content in multiple modalities (eLearning, instructor-led, virtual, video, self-paced, blended, microlearning, etc.).
  • Translate business needs into effective learning solutions by conducting needs assessments and collaborating with subject matter experts and People & Culture leaders.
  • Apply modern instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, etc.) and adult learning principles to develop leadership and culture-focused programming.
  • Convert existing curated content and courseware into engaging Web-Based Training (WBT) and Computer-Based Training (CBT) formats.
  • Create engaging activities such as simulations, role plays, and case studies to promote skill development in leadership, emotional intelligence, and inclusive behaviors.
  • Lead the end-to-end instructional design process, from needs analysis through to launch, feedback collection, and iteration.
  • Support and co-facilitate live workshops, learning events, and internal development programs aligned to our leadership framework.
  • Design and implement assessments strategies to measure learning outcomes and behavioral change over time.
  • Collaborate with the global People Development team to align content with broader organizational strategies and leadership competencies.
  • Maintain content quality, documentation, and version control across all learning assets.
  • Stay current with trends in learning technology, instructional design practices, and digital learning tools to continuously enhance the learner experience.
  • Perform other P&C-related duties as it pertains to SOTI’s business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bonus: Graphic design skills, knowledge of HTML5, SCORM, accessibility standards (WCAG), or other programming languages.
  • Basic HTML5 and technical troubleshooting experience is a plus.
