Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field which could include educational sciences, organizational development, human resources, or other related fields
  • 1-2 years of work experience, which includes development training programs or instructional design
  • Basic instructional design skills, preferably with exposure to e-Learning and self-guided learning
  • Familiarity with program coordination
  • Foundational project coordination skills with a willingness to learn program management
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional team members at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to stay highly organized and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and contribute to collective goals
  • Ability to work independently under general supervision and effectively prioritize workload
  • Proficiency in using software applications such as Canva and the Office Suite; tech-savvy with a strong inclination towards continuous learning

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and editing training videos, including trimming, adding basic effects, and ensuring quality. Training on editing tools will be provided.
  • Support the Knowledge Manager in maintaining the LMS by updating courses, managing communications, tracking completions, and ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Maintain and update onboarding content, collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy, and collect feedback to improve the new hire experience.
  • Assist internal presenters with logistics and content preparation for in-person and on-demand sessions, including Ware Malcomb University (WMU), the WM Mentoring Program, and other companywide initiatives.
  • Help analyze the effectiveness of training programs by collecting feedback and performance data to support continuous improvement.
  • Maintain the training calendar and serve as the master scheduler for all companywide learning and development programs.
  • Promote learning initiatives through internal channels such as The Hub (Ware Malcomb’s intranet), the WM Leader Newsletter, MS Teams, and other communication platforms.
  • Assist with applying training courses for continuing education credits, tracking application status, and communicating approvals firmwide.
  • Support the Knowledge Manager in organizing and maintaining training content and knowledge-sharing resources on The Hub.
  • Stay informed on trends and best practices in Learning & Development to support innovation and relevance in training programs.
  • Provide general administrative assistance to the Strategic Initiatives team as needed.
