Requirements
- Experience inputting data into BI software, creating sophisticated visualizations, and generating comprehensive reports.
- Ability to work solo, effectively prioritize tasks, and manage your time to meet project deadlines and customer expectations.
- Proven systematic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions to complex data challenges.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.
- Intermediate SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries and interpret data effectively.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and manage strong relationships cross-functionally across all management levels and roles, facilitating effective collaboration and execution.
Responsibilities
- Assist in supporting D2L customers by helping to design and implement their data strategy using Brightspace data, primarily through the Brightspace Community.
- Provide support in understanding and addressing customer needs related to their data strategy, and help design solutions using Brightspace data tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of data solutions.
- Contribute to building and nurturing relationships with internal stakeholders to foster strong collaboration and effective execution.
- Consistently deliver innovative solutions and adapt flexibly to meet customer needs, even in challenging and changing situations.
- Continuously expand and deepen your working knowledge of D2L solutions, staying up-to-date with the latest features, updates, and best practices.
- Participate in internal reviews, providing insights and recommendations to optimize data solutions.
- Help record and prioritize data-related issues and requirements, proactively addressing them and advocating for necessary improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a fast-paced technical environment, demonstrating a strong track record of delivering successful data solutions.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of commercial Business Intelligence Tools such as Domo, PowerBI, Tableau, QuickSight etc., effectively utilizing them to deliver advanced analytics and insights to clients.
